This Jaguar XJS has benefited from a significant mechanical refurbishment in recent years, with more than €15,500 invested between 2024 and 2025 by a Jaguar specialist.

2024

• Comprehensive service including engine oil, filters and spark plugs.
• Four new tyres fitted.
• Full wheel alignment.
• Electrical repairs and reliability improvements.
• Replacement of boot struts and various finishing components.

2025

• Complete overhaul of the Jaguar hydraulic braking system, including accumulator sphere, rear brake calipers, discs, pads and brake hoses.
• Refurbishment of the power steering hydraulic system, including replacement of hoses and fittings.
• Automatic transmission fluid service.
• Full wheel alignment.
• Various additional mechanical and reliability improvements.

The car is accompanied by its original Jaguar service book and an extensive history file, documenting more than €24,000 worth of maintenance and repair work throughout its life.

This XJS remains highly original and presents very well overall. A few minor cosmetic imperfections are worth noting, including a small hole in the soft top and paintwork that would benefit from a professional polish.

Mechanically, the car is excellent: no smoke, no vibrations, no suspension noises, no oil leaks and a very smooth automatic gearbox. It drives exactly as a well-sorted XJS should.

The car passed its Belgian technical inspection in 2024 with no remarks and is currently registered as an Oldtimer in Belgium in the name of our client.
